APG displays personalized information to the appropriate audience within

APG modules can be distributed and deployed as your business grows:
- APG Collectors: collect data from various sources including EMC|SMARTS, SNMP,
Cisco Netflow, VoIP equipments, SQL databases, files&
- APG database: is self-maintaining and supports MySQL, Oracle and
Microsoft-SQL.
- APG Web Portal: displays performance and SLA reports to operations and
customers. Advanced features include a graphical report builder, a formula
editor to compute complex KPIs, an outage editor to exclude and document
maintenance periods, a LDAP authentication support, a profile-based security
and integration with NMS/EMS consoles.
- APG ReportPacks: predefined reports dedicated to a specific technology or
vendor with built-in analytics like baseline deviation and forecasting.
ReportPacks are available for various IT silos, including IP, EMC|SMARTS
Health, Virtualization, QOS, IP-SLA, Juniper, Storage and Applications.
-APG leverages EMC|SMARTS polling to collect all the performance metrics from
the SMARTS domains, subscribes to Service Assurance Manager to automatically
retrieve Notifications and Topology and retrieves SMARTS domains health metrics
to provide a SMARTS administrator vital information into the SMARTS
infrastructure
