As organizations move to a paperless business model there is a growing demand for solutions to easily manage electronic documents. DocuNECT is an electronic document capture solutions that can take documents from multiple sources (desktop, email, FTP/sFTP, scanner/copier, fax server) and make them available in Documentum's ApplicationXtender or D5/D6 environment.
DocuNECT's Virtual Print Driver shows up as a regular print driver that allows documents to be printed from any print-enabled application. Users can index at the desktop using database lookups or DocuNECT's business rules engine can be configured to automatically index the document. The document and attributes are then distributed to either AX or D5/D6 as either a Adobe PDF or TIFF file.
