DigiFirst captures scanned images or electronic documents, cleans and indexes
them, and immediately stores them in a secure Documentum repository. DigiFirst
then automatically recognizes the type of document (loan application, contract,
etc.), and initiates the appropriate workflow. Each participant in the
business process receives the right materials at the right time until
the process is complete. The essential benefit of DigiFirst is its preconfigured
workflows, which have been streamlined into more manageable “quickflows.”
These quickflows allow for more precise business process modeling than
larger, more inflexible workflows.
With DigiFirst, we sought to maximize the productivity of the three key
participants in business process automation: technical staff, process managers
and process participants. Technical staff and IT resources gain control, operational
efficiency and data integrity. Managers gain greater flexibility when defining and
modifying processes, and greater visibility into the efficiency of the process and
its participants. Participants get exactly what they need to do their job when they
need it, freeing them to invest all their resources into increasing throughput.
DigiFirst is targeted to fit 80% of typical Business Process Management
requirements as an out-of-the-box solution. We realize that interrupting those
critical paper-based processes for any length of time is an unwelcome prospect
for any organization, so we made fast and reliable delivery one of our top priorities
when designing DigiFirst. The quickflows, templates, queues, lifecycles, object
types, jobs, methods, roles, interface and integrators are packaged in an easy
to install DocApp. With such a reduced time to deployment, your organization

automate.
