• Distribution module – Allows the distribution of database information.
• Workshop module – Enables the enrichment and management of database information with manual or automatic integration and indexing functions, rendition creation, keyword extraction, and manual or automatic document assignment in order to attribute hierarchy.
• Administration module – Provides interface for administration.

By using OPIDIS, users can:

• Manage the creation, modification, and storage of native documents.
• Administer folders and documents in reference as well as view and navigate within the dependency tree of a document.
• Manage referenced documents – even nonelectronic documents – with a configurable referencing system.
• Administer automatic or semiautomatic integration of documents and mass-loading.
• Batch-execute actions on documents and automatically extract metadata.
• Perform advanced consult, print, and mark-up functions.
• Navigate between documents and search documents with keywords, multicriteria, full-text mode, and mark-ups.
• Create direct hypertext links from one page to another page or to a different document – even during automatic native file integration – as well as create hyperlinks from one page to a folder, on action within a page, or on action in a page during the automatic integration of native files.
• List documents that are linking to or linked to by their hyperlinks.
• Manage document tracking, authorization, and confidentiality.
• Interface the document system with other systems.
• Customize OPIDIS.
