Partners within the Designed for EMC program have close development partnerships with EMC, participating in the program as a means of highlighting their investment in EMC software. The program provides partners with unprecedented access to product roadmaps along with architectural and strategic direction, representing a true advantage that can be passed on to your – and our – customers.
Our partners differentiate their offerings by submitting them to the Designed for EMC program, earning the "Designed for EMC" logo designation, and being featured in the Partner Application Portfolio. By putting an offering through this process, our partners demonstrate their commitment to customer success. Moreover, they show customers their investment in EMC software and clearly demonstrate the quality of their offerings.
Partners submitting offerings to the Designed for EMC program have access to early product roadmap information and specific product release information sharing through the program. Partners with program offerings receive invitations to our TechShare meetings, where we routinely conduct strategic architecture and product briefings. By submitting offerings into the program, our partners become closely aligned with EMC in a way that ensures that they are better able to provide quality products and solutions to customers.
Application design guidance is part of the program. Through the Designed for EMC program, our partners can take advantage of our expertise in EMC application design, participating in design workshops and interacting with our dedicated staff of architects. This makes it possible for partners to competitively field offerings that fully leverage EMC software.
By submitting an offering to be considered for the "Designed for EMC" logo designation, our partners are entering a thorough evaluation of their offerings against a comprehensive set of criteria. Once the evaluation process is complete, an offering that has demonstrated compliance with the required criteria, as put forth in the "Designed for EMC" specification, receives the logo and is promoted to that designation in the Partner Application Portfolio.
Eligibility
Any Documentum independent software vendor (ISV), value-added service provider (VSP), or systems integration partner in good standing, with a commercially available application or solution framework built to complement EMC software, is eligible to submit offerings to the program. For those partners developing or porting a new application to EMC software, an application architect's dedicated services are available as part of a packaged service offering.
