Q:  How does one become an EMC Velocity2 Partner?

A:   If your organization develops software applications, solutions, or integrations on or using EMC platforms, please review information and benefits of the EMC Velocity2 Technology & ISV Program.

Q:  Who is eligible to post an offering on the Partner Solution Gallery?

A:  EMC Velocity2 partners with repeatable, referenceable offerings built on or using EMC technology are eligible, by invitation from their Partner Manager, to submit an offering for the EMC Partner Solution Gallery, subject to review and approval by EMC. Offerings which have achieved Designed for EMC or EMC Center Proven are also automatically posted to the EMC Partner Solution Gallery.

Q:  How does a partner submit an offering to the Partner Solution Gallery?

A:  Upon invitation from their Partner Manager, partners submit an "Offering Profile" for each offering, as follows:

  • • Visit the online offering submission site
  • • At the first visit, register to set up a password; at subsequent visits, enter login information
  • • Select "Create/Edit Profile Offering" and fill in the on-line form
  • • Upon completion, click "Submit". Likely to take <5 minutes
  • • Then, if you have supporting collateral for the offering (i.e. datasheet, case study, success story, presentation, demo), please click "Upload Files for Your Offering" to add them

Q:  What happens after an offering is submitted to the Partner Solution Gallery?

A:  Once the submission is made:

  • • The offering submission will be reviewed by the EMC Partner Manager (or Alliance Manager or equivalent) who invited the submission – any questions will be addressed with the submitter.
  • • Upon approval, the offering will be posted to the Partner Solution Gallery, with confirmation and additional guidance sent to the partner and the EMC Partner Manager.
  • • We recommend then updating the partner's profile in the EMC Partner Directory (see below) via Powerlink to include a link to the new Partner Solution Gallery offering page.

Q:  How will the Partner Solution Gallery be publicized?

A:  To generate awareness of the EMC Partner Solution Gallery, notifications and postings are planned for www.EMC.com , Powerlink (for partners and customers), ChannelEMC (for EMC employees), the EMC Developer Network. the EMC Developer Network Newsletter (for the EMC developer community) and in a variety of additional EMC newsletters for customers, partners, employees and the general public. Information will also be available at major EMC events such as EMC World.

A:  For code samples, code search, discussion forums, articles, whitepapers, open source projects, audio/video, blogs, product information, developer challenges and results, tips, tools, and other resources for the EMC developer community, please visit the EMC Developer Network. Application, solution and integration development guidance is also available for partners who participate in the Designed for EMC offering accreditation process. Q:  What is the EMC Partner Directory?

A:  The EMC Partner Directory is a comprehensive online directory of worldwide EMC Partners. Find Partners through an A-to-Z listing by Partner name or Geography, or by specifying detailed search criteria. Search results will include a list of partners that meet the desired criteria, and the opportunity to view a comprehensive Partner Profile for each. Q:  How does the EMC Partner Directory differ from the Partner Solution Gallery?

A:  The EMC Partner Directory and the Partner Solution Gallery complement each other. The former contains partner information such as such as Partner Type, Business Focus, Product Focus, Partner Program Specializations and more, while the Partner Solution Gallery contains detailed offering information.
